Established in 1953 by Brian Kershaw originally known as B.C Kershaw painters and decorators, the business quickly developed a great reputation. Having an eye for perfection he would make sure all his decorating was completed to the highest standard. Kershaw Decorators has been based in many locations over the years, although we have always been based in Cheshire. Back in 1953 we were originally based in Cheadle SK8, then we moved to Wilmslow SK9, Macclesfield SK10, and finally to Poynton SK12 where we are based today.
Now 56 years later we are working to emulate his success. We work with our Team of highly skilled painters, decorators and plasterers to ensure your decorating is perfect for You!
WE ARE LONG STANDING MEMBERS OF THE PDA! (PAINTERS AND DECORATORS ASSOCIATION)
Painters and decorators often come into people’s homes and businesses – so customers want to know whether that painter, decorator or company is to be trusted.
Before being accepted for membership of the Painting and Decorating Association, companies and individuals are rigorously vetted and prospective members have to fulfil a number of requirements, including the production of evidence of more than five year’s experience in the industry.
Painters and decorators are also obliged to carry adequate public liability insurance and references. Once accepted, members are then subjected to random checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
The PDA also investigates all complaints made against any painter and decorator and endeavours to resolve any disputes through mediation.
Kershaws Painting, Decorating and Plastering services are available to residential customers situated in Manchester and Cheshire. We also embark on bigger commercial projects all over the UK.
